Family Liturgy
A unique celebration of the Eucharist that is especially child-friendly and is thoroughly enriching for adults of all ages
Our Community
The cornerstone of our Family Liturgy Community is the Family Mass, which takes place on Sundays at 9:00am in the lower church during the school year.
The Family Liturgy Pastoral Team, which consists of parishioners and our priests, meets four times per year to coordinate all aspects of Family Liturgy
Liturgical Ministries
Our Liturgical Ministries are open to all parishioners who are confirmed, active and practicing Catholics.
- Lectors - Proclaim the Word.
- Ushers - Greet worshippers, find seats, collect monetary offerings, and respond to any needs.
- Eucharistic Ministers - Serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass.
- Gospel Illustrators - Break open the Word for the children after the Gospel and before the Homily through a skit, story, song or other creative means.
- Music Ministers - Lead the community in song at Liturgy.
Outreach
- His Helping Hands - An outreach program to provide meals, childcare, prayers or anything for families in need.
- Playgroup - All parents, grandparents, and caregivers are welcome with their children (from birth to Kindergarten). We meet weekly in the Parish Center during the school year.
- Coffee Socials - Scheduled after Mass once a month in the Parish Center.
- Family and Adult Socials - Fun events throughout the year that bring our community closer together.Events include: apple picking, Christmas caroling, Lowell Spinners and adult evening socials.
- Simple Supper and Stations - Families gather during a Friday in Lent to share a simple supper and the Stations of the Cross.
Communication
The St. Agnes Trumpet is published four times per year. Email announcements are sent periodically.
